Josh stood up on the Rampart, looking out across the vast blue sea. A cool breeze blew his long black hair around effortlessly. He gave a small chuckle before tieing it back into a ponytail. Only then did he realize how much he look like a deceased friend of his, Dilan. He even had the same sideburns. However he had his bangs hanging down on both sides. That and his hair was slightly shorter. However he had had people tell him that him and Dilan could be brothers. He shook away the thoughed and started off the Rampart, looking for another friend off his.

Marcus quickly dispatched the Heartless and Unversed around him. "Hmph, that was too easy. C'mon, how do you expect to beat me if you keep getting beaten yourselves?" he laughed as he rested one of his Frostbites on his shoulder, letting the other hang by a finger at his side.

Josh had seen the man take out the last of the enemies around him. He stopped to watch the man for a moment, then proceeded over to him. "You fight well." He said in a quiet, shy voice. "I like your weapon too. I've seen something like it before..." Though he had a shy, quiet voice, his posture and warm smile showed that he was friendly.

Mark looked at the man that was talking to him. "Thanks man," he said with a smile, "the name's Marcus. Got it memorized?" He desummoned his chakrams as he talked, and pointed to his temple when he asked the question.

"Nice to meet you," Josh said, holding out his hand. "I'm Josh." Before he got the chance to shake Marcus' hand a Shadow appeared near by. Crux came quickly to his hand. Spinning it above his head then bring it back down, he trust it forward, skewering the Shadow. He spun it back to his side and stuck it in the groud, holding his hand back out to Marcus.

"Ya got some skills there Josh." he said, taking his new friend's hand. Then he remembered something and dug out a picture of him and his cousin. "Have you seen this guy around? His name is Lea, he's my cousin."

"Oh... Ok. He and Isa... They were turned into Nobodies. I saw him and my good buddy Dilan's Nobodies three years ago. They were killed by a Keyblade Wielder before I ever got out of the castle." He said sadly, missing Dilan. He had even lost an Uncle to the Nobodies, but he had never been close to Lumaria, or as he had been called later, Marluxia. "I'm sorry..."

"I only wish I was wrong..." He said. "If he was, Dilan and Uncle Lumaria would be too... but they aren't...." It was obvious that he was genuinely sad and sincere. Then he decided to try to make the guy feel better. "You said Lea was your cousin right?"

He smiled at his new friend's statement about his cousin. "Ok, let me rephrase then. Lea is no longer physically with us. But your two second cousins are. They are Nobodies, but they still are physically here. Well one is technically half. She's a love child." He said with a small chuckle.
