Kurt Silverlake, returning after a decade gone, shimmered in out of Darkness on the beach. He remembered this place, so warm, so bright, so happy. It sickened him and he hated the place, once one of his favorite vacation spots with his cousins. He walked the beach, aimlessly, until that is, he came across a building. A house. More of a mansion, four stories. He looked toward it in contempt, almost as if he recognized it from a dream.

Kaylee ran out of the house, yelling happily to Alex as she left. Today the were going to do some gardening to make the place look even better. Alex however, wasn't near as ready as Kaylee, and told her to go on.

Kurt spotted her and instantly recognized her. He flared his Darkness for half a second, letting his presence be known.

The happy-go-lucky Keyblader stopped, feel the overbearing darkness for a brief amount of time. "Hm, that was odd." She said a loud. After think about it for a minute, she shrugged and went on her merry way.

Kurt followed her. His intent flowing throughout his entire being. "I wonder if she'll recognize me?" he thought. He flared his Darkness again, trying to get her attention.

When she felt the darkness again she looked around for it's source. Finally, she spotted Kurt. She stared at him, reconzing him, but not remembering from where.

"Dark Firaga." he said as he launched the burning black fireball at her.

She easily dodged it and summoned Chaos Ripper to her side. What gives?! I didn't do anything! she yelled in her head.

The tanned man's expression never shifted as he launched another black fireball at her.

Kaylee dodged again, looking back at the man. "What gives?I didn't do anything to hurt you!" She called, hoping that he would cease.

"Why do you fear the Darkness?" he asked. He opened his hand and summoned his Keyblade. Basilisk appeared in a cloud of dark smoke.

"What? I don't fear the Darkness." Kaylee said, confused. What was this guy talking about? Better still, WHO was this guy?

"Your heart tells different." he replied simply. He entered his battle stance, Darkness flaring for a single second once again.

"Who are you anyway? You seem so familiar..." She asked kindly, taking her battle stance as well.
