She relaxed and took his hand. Her usual, bright smile returned to her face. "Yeah. You know the way well don't you."

"Yeah." he smiled back at her. He tried to put the old memories in the back of his mind, where they belong, but Kaylee's question dug at him. He shook his head, forcing the thought out and led the way back to the castle.

Typical to her nature, Kaylee talked the whole way back. She covered anything and everything before the castle even came into view, then kept talking. When the reached the castle gates though she stopped completely and looked up at Emile. "Hey, I'm sorry about asking that earlier. I was merely curious."

"Just curious where Alex is. It's not like her to be gone this long. She's with Ray though... He better take care of her. He may be a good friend, but that won't stop me from hurting him if something happens to Alex..." She said, looking at the ground, almost ashamed that she even said something like that.
