Ren's head fell to one side questioningly. Why of all things did she want to know his history? She knew his name, after all, so it stood to reason, didn't it, that she would know that and more about him? It seemed logical in his mind, if nothing else, but rather than be considered impolite--or worse--he decided to humor her, and began. "... Nothing," the Heartless replied. "At least, not at first... I wasn't s'posed to end up the way I did... I s'pose I started out like millions of other Heartless, though, in the end. A little bit of darkness 'ere and there. The only difference was that my Somebody's Darkness, once dormant, started to grow. In fact, rather than it stop growing, it continued to flourish as time went on, bringing me with it."

"Hm, boring." Void said with an unamused laughed. 'Still, you have survived out here, so you aren't completely worthless. Night hasn't gotten to you." Mirage shuddered at the mention of the huge Heartless.

"M'glad to be of service," the Heartless replied, returning the dark chuckle. It seemed her Higness was far less interested in him than Mirage had let on. Good. It would be better this way. Perhaps, if he were lucky, he would be able to get a nice, low-lying job from the Mistress of the Black. Which reminded him! "Beggin' pardon, Ma'am, but may I know why you were scouting me?"
Ren had no idea who--or what--Night was, but judging by the look on Mirage's face, he may as well leave the subject untouched. It didn't seem like something pleasant...

"Thinking maybe you are just strong enough to be a part of my "gang". Maybe you will be useful to me." She admitted simply. Mirage nodded and started to speak. "No, Mirage."

"I'll take that as a compliment, I s'pose, Mi'Lady," Ren returned, his voice fading away into nothingness and a smile still dancing in his dark eyes as he rolled back on his heels. Stretching his arms out and up, he winced slightly at the tight feeling. It was the flying of course, the brought the pain on. Gods but he hated flying... It always left him feeling claustrophobic, and once he got off of the ship itself, it usually took several days for the soreness to fade from his muscles. All in all, flying to him seemed nothing more than a waste of time.
He noted the quick way Void spoke to Mirage yet again and occupied his ever questioning mouth with a yawn, rather than start his queries. Curiosity killed the cat, after all. Ren didn't want to start off here known as a nosy nuisance... for now, at least... so he carefully made sure his voice was kept silent.

"However," Void suddenly began after a long moment of silence. "I must test your skill. Are you ready for your task?"

Renideo folded his arms across his chest, pretending to think about her offer for a moment. His head tilted to one side, the motion casting half his face further into shadows than before, before giving her a jerky nod. "S'pose I am, Mi'Lady," he said, his ever-present smile widening yet again.

"I actually have two tasks for you. The first one is your real task, the other is a little side quest." She started looking at her nails. "I need to to keep watch on Nihil for me. Mr. I-control-Unversed hasn't been doing as he said. And I need you to retrieve my journal from theNobody, Mavrina."
