Zack exited his gummi ship and looked around. Yep, just as I thought. It is much easier to admire the beach when you haven't totaled your gummi ship. he thought. He looked around for Kaylee, but didn't see her. I guess I'm a little early. I wonder if they sell sea-salt ice cream around here.

"I promise I'll be back later Alex!" The happy black-haired girl yelled as she ran from the house. She was off to see a dear friend of hers. One she cared for very much. As she was running though, she spotted his Gummi Ship and decided to play a little trick on him. Quickly she took to the water and dove, swimming under the dock nearest to him and re-surfacing. Then, like a mermaid, she began to sing, hoping to lure him onto the dock.

Hearing the singing, Zack turned and walked to the dock, curious about who the singer was. When he realized the sound was coming from underneath the dock, he knelt down and peered through one of the gaps between the wood.

Kaylee saw her opportunity and took it. She grabbed Zach, careful not to hurt him, and pulling him off the dock and into the water, hoping he had remembered to bring something to swim in.

"Ack!" Zack yelled as he was pulled into the water. When Zack resurfaced, he let out a laugh. "It seems I can't ever go to the beach without getting my clothes wet."

"Nope." She laughed, swimming closer to him. "How have you been. I missed you? I thought we were NEVER going to get here." It had been a week since she last saw him, but the week was so eventful it was almost unreal.

"I've been doing pretty well," Zack replied. "Gummi ship could've turned out better, though. Everyone must have beaten me to the good stuff back at that store in Radiant Garden. But never mind that. How was your trip to the Keyblade Graveyard?"

"Hot, miserably, but informitive. The rest of the time at Radient Garden was eventful too." She explained, playing with the water in front of her.

"Well? What did you find out?" Zack asked, a little more intrigued.

"We got to witness Ray's lost memories." She laughed "On something that resembled a big TV." However, her smile faultered a bit as she remembered the events in Radient Garden.

Zack noticed Kaylee's smile fade. "Is something wrong?" he asked, a little concerned.

"While we were in Radient Garden... The Grandmaster was killed..." Kaylee said quietly, her voice laced with sadness.

"What!?" Zack exclaimed. "Someone was killed? How did it happen?"

"No, Zack... not just someone... The Grandmaster. You know... The man that is said to be the best Keyblader there is, the one that trains the students at the academy... Master Chris Ryder's personal mentor... He was murdered... in Hollow Bastion right before our eye..."
