Zack arranged the swords like a six-pointed shuriken and sent them hurtling through the air toward Night, then glided toward him again, getting ready to resummon the swords and begin the second dose of slashing.

Night was knocked back into the wall by the shuriken and was ccomplelty unprepared for the next wave.

Zack slashed at him with each sword and then quickly glided back a short distance and sent all six swords flying toward Night.

Night took the hit yet again. When he got back up, he gared at Zack, cursed under his breath and disappeared into a portal. That was it. He was gone.

Kaylee watched the monster leave before running over and latching on the Zack, crying and saying thank you.

Zack hugged Kaylee. The aura of light and the swords disappeared. "It's ok. He's gone now," he said, trying to comfort her. "Now that I'm not in the heat of battle, do you know exactly what it was that happened to me?" asked Zack. "It was...rather awesome actually. I wouldn't mind figuring out how to do that again!" A smile was growing on Zack's face as he was talking.

"Stuff like that happens to keybladers when something they hold dear is in great danger." Kaylee sniffed, not even realizing what she was saying. "There is always a small down-side to it, but usually if in that situation, you don't really care. It would be like if Ray was in immense danger. Something like that would happen to Alex because she loves him." She wasn't even listening to herself, or even making possible connection between what she was saying and what just happened.

"Alex is in love?" Zack asked, grinning. This was news to him, and he still hadn't met this Ray person that he kept hearing about. "Anyway, I'm just glad you're ok." Zack said, hugging Kaylee tighter as if he was afraid something else might attack her.

"Yeah... She and Ray finally admitted it... after... after I did more damage to his already shattered heart." She sniffed again, almost in tears. "Zack... I just keep getting into trouble and hurting people... What good am I?"
