Well...that didn't go as I had hoped, Zack thought to himself as he observed the twisted wreckage that used to be his gummi ship. His clothes were wet from having to make an emergency dive into the ocean as the gummi ship plummeted down toward land. The gummi ship was damaged when it had slammed into a meteor when Zack was trying to figure out the controls.
Zack sighed. Something tells me that my gummi ship isn't ever going to take off again. It doesn't even look like a gummi ship anymore! As he was thinking about this, he noticed a conflict breaking out furthur down the beach. What's going on down there? he thought to himself, moving closer to get a better look.

Kaylee fought hard against the hoards of Heartless and Unversed tha had been attracted to her Darkness. She soon realized though that she was losing. Her best wasn't enough. Slowly she felt herself giving into te Darkness, dispite trying with all her strength to fight it too. what am I going to do? she thought quickly, I can't fight both! The Darknss strated to flow of of her freely, and she was powerless to stop it. With new found strength, Kaylee started to put a dent in the hoard.

Heartless and Unversed? thought Zack, already summoning Lionheart. She looks like she can use some help. Zack sprinted toward the battle.

Kaylee looked up and saw the other Keyblade wielder running towards her. She was delighted for the help, but the distraction left her completely unguarded. A Neoshadow lunged at her, knocking her back, then she was swarmed by Shadows and Flood. However, her Darkness wouldn't let her lose. With a single attack, she whipped out the Shadows, Flood, and the Neoshadow that had opposed her.

Zack finally reached the battle scene and immediately started dealing out a flurry of attacks. The Heartless and Unversed didn't seem as interested in him as they were with the other keyblade wielder, so most of them were caught by surprise with Zack's fast attacks.

After a long drawn out battle, Kaylee took out the last three enemies and de-summoned her Keyblade. Almost immediately, she collapsed onto the sand, still concious. Have to deal with external and interesnal struggels always left her tired, but deal with both at one time just drained her.

Zack was relieved when the last few enemies were defeated. For a long time, it had seemed that there was no end to the large amount of Heartless and Unversed. However, this relief soon went away as he noticed the girl collapse to the ground. Zack cast cure on her as he ran up by her side to see if she was alright.

Kaylee pushed herself up to a sitting possition and looked at the other Keyblader. "Thanks, I don't think I could have done that alone. I got seperated from my friends so I was a gonner until you came along." She said with a weak smile.

"Kaylee Silverlake." She answered simply. Her almost trademark bright, glittering smile refelected the light of the setting sun, as did her milk chocolate brown eyes. "It's starting to get late. Do you have anywhere to stay? There is plenty of rooms where I live. Alex won't mind." She said, intentions good, but not realizing that typically Alex was a guy's name.

Zack looked back at the crash site of his gummi ship. "That might be necessary. Thanks! I didn't even think of where I was going to stay."

Kaylee got to her feet and started walking off. "Lets go before for more of them show up." As she was walking, she started fidgeting with the peice of armor on her shoulder, apprently trying to adjust it to get it to sit right.

Zack followed Kaylee. He noticed her messing with a piece of armor on her shoulder. "So what is that for?" he asked, gesturing to the armor.

"Oh that?" She asked looking back at then then at him. "Keyblade armor." came her simple answer. When they reached the huge mansion where she lived she stopped at the gate and turned to him. "This is where I live with Alex. Welcome to the Faith Estate."
