Gier gazed out from the summit of the mountain. He smirked as he thought about all the ways he could raise hatred within all the people in the city below. Perhaps it could be as easy as threatening the honor of their family. he thought to himself.

Stark couldn't help himself. "Hey, Four!" he yelled after sneaking up on his superior.

Gier jumped a little, but quickly regained his composure. The grin reappeared on his face. "Congratulations. You actually managed to startle me. You have reached a whole new level of evil." The last sentence was rich with sarcasm, and Gier began giving a slow clap.

"It's about time I got you." laughed Stark in his usual sadistic way. "So, I guess you're accompanying me on my mission today, or is it the other way around?"

"I'm accompanying you, out of the generosity of the heart that I don't have," Gier replied, his grin never fading. "At any rate, I suppose I should check to make sure you know your mission."

Stark scoffed. "Yeah, did you forget that us Emblem Heartless actually kept our hearts? And, yeah, I know the mission. Raez told me that I was supposed to come check on some of our interests. There, did I pass?"

Gier smiled. "Yes you pass. You even caught the mistake I... intetionally hid in my words." He looked back toward the city. "Whenever you are ready, we can go."

"C'mon, let's get the Hell outta the cold." he said as he jumped down the mountain, landing on the hard-compacted snow.

Gier followed down the mountain after Stark. "And I suppose you know which interests we are checking on and where they can be found?"

"Some chinks, that's all I was told." he smiled his usual smile at his superior. "The Dark Mistress has a way with not being specific."

"I imagine that is how the Dark Mistress prefers it," Gier commented. He watched as the blanket of snow slowly became nonexistant, and the weather started to feel warmer. Finally, they reached a path linking the city and an encampment. "Your pick," Gier told Stark.

"Why me? You're the leader here, you pick." the Seventh pointed at his shorter commander.

Gier smirked. "Don't trust your own judgement?" he asked, not really looking for an answer. He then proceeded to walk toward the city.

"Nope," began the giant Heartless as he followed Gier, "just didn't feel like babying you, I'm sure you can make your own decisions."
